Sample Testing of Fire DoorsPurpose of this eAlert is draw attention to recently issued guidance to Building Standards Managers, relating to the testing of Fire Doors by the UK Government's Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
An initial letter was issued on the 6 August to draw attention to issues about fire door tests.  A second letter was issued on the 18 September providing an update.  At this time, we also published a fire door test guidance document.
