Glasgow City Council Building Standards delighted to receive the first LABSS Award for the "Team of the Year"

Brian Tierney, Team Leader Building Standards Glasgow City Council was delighted to receive the inaugural "Team of the Year Award" on behalf of his team and colleagues.Having given an excellent presentation on "Building Standards at the The Commonwealth Games" at the LABSS AGM held in The Lighthouse in Glasgow on Thursday 14 May 2015, Brian Tierney, Team Leader accepted the inaugural "Team of the Award" presented on behalf of LABSS by the incoming Chair Nick McLaren, Development and Building Standards Manager, INVERCLYDE COUNCIL​
The award was in recognition of the exceptional efforts and successes of the Glasgow Building Standards Team in bringing together multiple agencies and multiple pieces of legislation in the pursuit and achievement of public safety at a national very high profile event - The Commonwealth Games 2014.
Their achievements were applauded and very much appreciated by their peers and colleagues present at the AGM.
