Verification Workforce Strategy
The strategy takes cognisance of an ageing workforce as well as lack of re-investment in staff and limited innovation of the service to address a plan to develop the current services into a first class building standards service fit for the future
The workforce strategy will focus on identifying what is required to underpin a verification service for the future.
The need to strengthen skills, training and competenceof building standards verifiers was first raised by the Compliance and Enforcement Review Panel, Chaired by Professor John Cole.
