This is an assessment of Gerband Fortax 6400 Adhesive Sealant that is designed for use with the Gerband sd2 vapour control membrane to provide construction air tight sealing when applied with suitable membrane overlaps and appropriate tapes. It can also be used for permanent bonding applications and connections for all standard vapour barriers and air-tightness-layers under the DIN 4108-7 the general suitability of the joining partners. It is Polymer dispersion and light blue in colour. It has no environmental or indoor toxins and is solvent free. Any waste can be safely disposed of in domestic waste.
