SUCCESS FOR THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT eDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TEAM which included the development and the adoption of the eBuilding Standards portal.At a ceremony on Monday 5th December in the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, at which Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister had sent a pre-recorded video message praising the work of the public sector, the winning award in the Digital Public Services category was duly presented to the Scottish Government eDevelopment Project Team.  John McNairney (Chief Planner, Directorate for the Built Environment) accepted the award alongside Bill Dodds (Head of Building Standards Division), Liz Pringle (Programme Lead, eDevelopment.scot Programme Team ), David Leslie (City of Edinburgh Council) and Colin Cook, Head of Digital Services, (Scottish Government). Also in the photograph are Muir Somervillie (City of Edinburgh Council Building Standards) and Diane Rennie, Kevin Holmes and Andy Kinnaird (all of the eDevelopment.scot Programme Team)
Depute First Minister John Swinney also spoke highly of the public sector earlier in the evening and later, in particular, about the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award for her public sector work, Alison Elliot OBE
