New LABSS initiatives receive Ministerial support

Marco Biagi MSP, Minister for Local Government and Community Empowerment, in addressing the recent LABSS AGM and Conference gave a vote of support to a number of new LABSS initiatives aimed at improving consistency of service delivery across all 32 Local Authority Building Standards’ Services. On the ‘Partner Authority Scheme’ pilot Mr Biagi stated that this ‘should provide significant benefits for national companies’. Mr Biagi also indicated support for the LABSS ‘Dispute Resolution’ process believing this will ‘help to promote consistent approaches across Scotland.More information on the Partner Authority Scheme is available via the link below.
